We recently took part in the ‘Sustrans’ Big Walk and Wheel, from the

11th – 22nd March.

Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel inspires pupils to make active journeys to school, improve air quality in their neighbourhood and discover how these changes benefit their world.

We made an impressive 855 active journeys in the 2 weeks!

Here are some of the badges we achieved:

We also came 24th in the region!

But more importantly, it encouraged our children to think about lifestyle choices they make and can control – it was great to see some of our pupils switching up their normal journey to school and either walking or wheeling instead!

Great effort team Eastburn!
